All Year 3's had a school camp at Lake Cullulleraine for 2 nights, 3 days. Seb was a little bit apprehensive about it because he doesn't like to be away from his family for too long. He's a real homebody. Typical of Seb, he was worrying about the little things like where was he going to sleep, what were the bathrooms like, what were they going to eat etc.
This is Seb using my phone to take pictures of himself so we'd remember him while he was away. He also made a cute little video of himself so that we could watch it and not miss him too much.
All packed, ready to leave for school. Seb needed a whole suitcase to fit in all his bedding plus what was on the packing list provided by the school. The beanie was Seb's choice, and he wore that all camp and didn't put on his brand new wide brimmed hat once!
At the school, getting all the luggage sorted before the bus came.
Seb showing a flash of uncertainty on his face.
Lining up to get on the bus with his mate Jospeh. This is where his excitement started to kick in, but still wanted me to line up with him :)
Declan, Joseph, Seb and Nic.
Both Zoe and I had to give Seb multiple hugs before he left and he gladly received them! Zoe missed her brother a lot while he was gone.
This photo was taken on the car ride home after his camp. Seb was exhausted and couldn't stay awake for the 7 minute drive home :)
Seb said he had the best time at camp. He loved sleeping on the bunk bed with the other boys in the dorm, had fun mucking around with the teachers, everything was exciting apparently! He always gets worked up before anything 'big', but usually ends up having a fantastic time :)
