We traveled to Halls Gap for Kerry's 30th Birthday. It's such a beautiful part of the country, and it was nice to go down there for such a good reason.
The Moritz's also came down for the party, and we had fun having lunch and spending time together.
The cicadas were deafening!! Kerry was telling about a time when there was a plague of them in Halls Gap and they were everywhere - carpets of them on the ground, all up the trees etc. Hate to think of how loud they would have been then!
Seb enjoyed capturing some of them and having a play with them :)
Kangaroos just hanging around the accommodation site.
Zoe & Alicia are really good friends who love to play with each other. How cute do they look holding hands on our walk??
Moritz's, most of the Kiley's, and us on the walk to the Baths.
Nat, me and Kerry.
Zoe, ever the cautious one just putting her feet in the water. Seb, Mr Adventure, was right in the drink having a great time with the other kids sliding down the rocks :)
Brendan Kiley pushing the kids down the 'slide' to give them a good run. Such a nice place to be around.
We went to Kerry's birthday party that night. Here is the birthday girl cutting her cake that Nat made.
The lovely Kiley family.
