The kids woke up extremely excited Christmas morning! Well, Seb woke up first, coming into our room at 6.07am. We tried to get him to lay in our bed for a little while and have a cuddle to give Zoe a little more sleep seeing as she couldn't go to sleep the night before because she was too excited. The cuddles lasted for two minutes and Seb couldn't wait any longer to go wake up Zoe. I told him to wake her up gently because she might wake in a bad mood. Seb kissed her a couple of times, then she was wide awake and they both ran into our room. Zoe was like the energiser bunny jumping up and down saying 'It's Christmas, it's Christmas!!'.
The first present the kids wanted to open, before even opening their Santa sacks, was the present they chose for each other. Seb gave Zoe a blue elf, and Zoe gave Seb three different flavours of chewy. They were both super happy with the present the other chose.

Then it was out to the Stewart's for more present opening and Christmas tea.

Zoe wasn't too sure about the punch drink she was given. That is, until I told her it was a crystal glass just like Princess Belle must have used. That turned it into the most delicious drink and Zoe kept calling herself a princess :) :)

After a great, but exhausting, day it was time to go home and these three all climbed into Zoe's bed to read about the The First Christmas.
