Last night we unexpectedly received our travel call! The dept rang to say that the judge had whizzed through our final adoption order and that Zoe would be ready to come home in just over a week! To say that we are stunned is an understatement. However, we are over the moon and rushing around to get things organised so we can go meet our little girl ASAP! When adopting from Taiwan, families would usually get 3-5 weeks notice to travel so our call came out of nowhere. Our court process only took around 5 weeks which is rather unheard of. So to all those who prayed or sent good thoughts - thank you! We are so blessed that we are able to travel so soon.
We are hoping to go to Korea mid next week. Seb will get to spend his 4th birthday in Korea which will be so, so special. We'll head to Taiwan on the 27th, meeting and having our handover of Zoe on Monday 28th and spending a week together as a family of four before heading home on the 2nd or 3rd of Aug.
We are so excited! We get to meet Zoe in a week and a half and she'll only be four months when we return home. YIPPEE!!!!!
