Oh my, how handsome does Seb look in his graduation gown & hat? When we arrived for the Graduation ceremony, we were pleasantly surprised to see all the kids dressed in graduation outfits. They looked so cute!Full length shot of our gorgeous boy
All of the families were packed into the kinder, and each of the kids were called out one by one to come down the front to their teacher, Ms Goodwin. Seb was so eager to get down the front that he ran, stopping to give Daddy a cuddle who was squatting down to get a picture! Seb gave everyone a good giggle. Doesn't he look so excited in this picture?

Don't they all look adorable sitting in a group? They are 'reading' to us in this shot. They read 'Where is the green sheep?', pretty much in unison! Then they sung around six different songs that they'd been singing over the past few months. Next they sung a Christmas song while doing sign language that was so great to watch. Then they rolled out the Christmas songs which the kids loved singing.
I have to say that we were so, so proud of Seb as he sung along to all the songs and did the actions. At his end of year 3 year old concert, he got a bit of stage fright. His way of showing that wasn't to go shy and quiet, but to act like a bit of a wally. It made this concert all the more special as we'd tried to build up his confidence beforehand and said that we would love to just see him enjoy himself and we would be so happy. He did that and so much more. We just burst with pride as Seb had such a good time and really enjoyed himself.
At the end of the day, Ms Goodwin came to us and said that when they'd started practicing Seb had gotten really upset and wouldn't sing any songs. Ms Goodwin happened to be there at last years concert and realised they'd been singing the same songs as last year and Seb had bad memories and wouldn't sing them again. She changed the whole lineup of songs and said Seb was like a different boy and sang along happily. Ms Goodwin is an amazing teacher and I'm so glad she recognised Seb's feelings and how he remembers so much about things that have happened. It made for a perfect day.

Seb with the amazing Ms Goodwin. He gave both his teachers a present of a bookmark which Aunty Karen engraved for us. It had the teachers name engraved on the front, and had Seb's name and the year on the back. They are never going to forget Seb now :)
Seb with his beloved Mrs Koch, his other teacher. She is another amazing lady who doesn't stop moving and is an incredible organiser. I hope they are both still there when Zoe goes to kinder.
Seb at home with gifts he got from kinder. The mug has his kinder name and symbol on the front, and a list of all the kids names with the year on the back. Such a nice keepsake. It had a little graduation bear in it, which is now hanging from our Christmas tree! We were also given a folder with lots of Seb's artwork that he'd done throughout the year. It also included a growth chart for each term, photos, certificates, his footprints and handprints, and a monkey bar licence! Something we'll keep forever.
I know this is a really long post and I tried not to go on too much!!! This is one of those days that I'll never forget as it was so special. Words can't express how proud I was of Seb getting up in front of so many people and performing. Seb is not a shy boy at all when it comes to small groups - far from it, but any large group he has to go in front of freaks him out a bit so he did REALLY well today.
There are only five more kinder sessions to go for the year (sniff, sniff). Where did the year go? Seb says he's ready to go to school, but I don't know if I'm ready to send him yet!
We love you Seb and we are so, so proud of you.
