Happy Easter

Two very happy and excited kids ready for the Easter Egg hunt. Zoe was scared that Easter Bunny would still be around, but after assuring her he'd already gone and had just left the chocolate she was ready and raring to go :)

Once again, it was too cold outside for Easter Bunny to hide his eggs so it was set up in the loungeroom. Call him soft if you like, I call him practical :)

Kids just a little bit happy after collecting a basket of eggs each!

Our chocolate loving girl in heaven.

Our spiritual boy demonstrated what he learnt at school. He smashed the egg that represented Jesus' tomb, proving it was empty and that He had risen.

Two extremely happy kids.

I find it interesting how Easter shows the kids personalities.

Seb - Soon after the hunt and after eating a couple of eggs, he made a homemade pouch and put a few eggs in there and gave it to his Mum & Dad so that we would have some chocolate. He's also put around 8 eggs into a container so he can give them out to his mates in church. He keeps putting extra little eggs in his sisters basket as well.

Zoe - Will graciously except any extra eggs her brother gives her! While she will share her chocolate with others when coaxed, I can see her in a year or so counting all her eggs and keeping track on where they're going! This girl loves her chocolate too much to share it around willingly!
