Our big Prep boy, more than ready for his last day of school. He's been counting down the sleeps till the end of school for over two weeks.I couldn't resist taking photos of his last day like I did his first. The uniform is more faded, hat very worn out, the boy much smarter and more confident within himself.

This was their picture are the start of the year. They have both grown so much in 11 months - it's quite scary! Seb's grown a little in height, but a lot in maturity. Zoe's grown a lot in height and a lot in maturity. They both look a lot older. Oh, it makes me teary to see how much difference a year makes!

Seb & Mrs Lyons. He gave her a big hug when handing over her goodbye present. It was also her birthday today, so it was an extra special day for her.

I've been feeling really sad about Seb finishing Prep this year. This year has gone too fast and it's not really set in my mind yet that Seb's going to go to school for a very long time and this is now the 'norm'. I'm very proud to say that I held in my tears right up to the end of the day until we were driving away from the school. A year gone by too fast...
We're really proud of how Seb went on his report. He has grown so much this term and seems to grasp a lot more. As a celebration I took Seb to Macca's for some chips and ice cream, where we also met his mate. They greeted each other with a huge smile and hug even though they'd only seen each other 10 minutes previously. If there was a mark at school for how social the kids were, Seb would excel!! It's so nice to see him with so many friends, not just in his own year but throughout the whole school. It's so cute to see him do 'secret handshakes' with the big kids :)
Seb is super excited about next year (that makes one of us!). He loves the teacher he's got next year (she does play the guitar after all!), and he's in a class with five other of his good mates from this year. Wonder if he'll do another countdown for when he starts Grade 1???

So bittersweet.... Our baby boys are growing into adorable, independant, responsible big boys. All too fast!!
