Easter Monday

We left Melbourne early Monday morning so we could get as much time at the Maynard's as possible! In the above photo, Zoe is latched onto Tam pretty tightly! Within seconds of us arriving, Zoe went to Tam and she stayed like this for a good 15 minutes or so. I think one little girl has got her nose out of joint that her 'Mara' has a little girl of her own now! Thankfully Zoe did warm up and eventually gave Ava some cuddles and kisses. Ava's adjustment is going much better than Zoe's!!!

With Zoe cuddling Tam, I got the chance to have another sweet girl on my lap. You just feel like cuddling Ava all day long.

Ava opening her birthday present from us. Her birthday was the very next day. No one could believe just how blessed her family was to be able to celebrate her first birthday with her.

The boys couldn't see what all the fuss was about so they busied themselves with playing on Tam's iphone. Seb has got on a cool shirt from Korea that the Maynard's got for him (among LOTS of other things!).

It all got a bit much for Zoe and she fell asleep on the swing! It was so funny to see her nodding off - she almost fell off the swing! She woke up as soon as I tried to pick her up. Poor baby was a bit tired :)

Too much cuteness for one seat. We've all been waiting a very long time for this picture. We all hope the girls are going to be great friends.

Two little angels.

Monday happened to be Glen's birthday, and what better way to celebrate than to have his whole family home with him. Don't think you could beat that as a present!

Ava is settling in so well. She is so comfortable with Tam and if she happens to walk out of a room, Ava will watch her and if she's out of sight she will whimper for her. That is SUCH a great sign of attachment. She is very comfortable with Glen too. The poor Daddy's are usually second fiddle for a while after the little ones come home, but it's just great to see that she is quite happy in Glen's arms too. You couldn't ask for a better baby really!
