Korean flag at kinder

Seb's kinder recently had two flagpoles installed, and the kinder teachers asked if we had a Korean flag we would like to bring in to hang up for a week or so. After assuring Seb that they weren't going to keep his Korean flag, he got rather excited about it. They had hung it up upside down at first, as Seb was quick to point out to the teachers, but they quickly put it around the right way.

Apparently Seb got to sit on the big chair out the front of his class while his teacher explained to the other kids about the flag and why Korea was so important to Seb. Seb told me he then told the class that he was born in Korea, that Mrs Lee looked after him while he was a baby and that Mum & Dad came to pick him up and he came home on a big plane. If I had of known this talk was going to happen, I would have stayed around to hear what he said and to make sure his story came across correctly. Seb said he even asked the class if they knew his birthmum. Can you imagine some of the questions the kids are going to ask their parents tonight??? I know one of Seb's friends is confused, saying that he knows Seb's birthmum and saw her last night - obviously he thinks its me. Maybe I should be apologising to all the parents with the questions that they're going to have to answer!
Seb was proud as punch that he shared his story with his class, as he is so proud to be Korean.
