We went to Melbourne almost two weeks ago for a few days. It already feels like we've been back home forever, but I still wanted to do a blog on it so we can look back and remember our trip.
We travelled down to Melbourne as our niece and nephew were getting dedicated so we wanted to be there for that, and while we were down that way we added a few extra nights to spend time together as a family at a holiday unit. It was great to spend time with Ben, Naomi and their kidlets for the first couple of nights.
We decided to travel a different way to Melbourne than we usually do for a change, via Ballarat. Along the way we came across the Wind Farm at Waubra. We all got out to have a look as we'd never seen one before.
The kids got to stretch their legs and play with rocks at the lookout.
So many wind machines. Was cool to watch them spin around.
We stopped off at the Ballarat Botanic Gardens as well. The kids always love walking around gardens. Zoe loves smelling the flowers :)
My little munchkins and I.
We rarely pass a lion without a photo opportunity. The kids love them, particularly Seb.
Seb checking out the canons after having an ice cream in the park.
Then we completed our journey and arrived at the other Stewart's. The kids wasted no time getting together to play. It was so nice to see everyone as it had been more than a year since the last time we saw them!
Beautiful Chelsea, a big 3 year old now! She is very busy being three, but is still a sweetheart :)
Seb adores babies, and thinks the world of Lachlan. The last time we saw this little man he was a teensy tiny baby, now he is a one year old!
Tahlia and Zoe played so well together. Would be great if these two lived closer to each other :) Tahlia is a big five year old and will be a big school girl next year!
