We got up nice and early and drove down to Sunbury to visit some wonderful friends, Michelle and Brendan, along with their kids Sam & Lily. They have just built themselves a beautiful new house and it was lovely to see them in their new home.
True to form, Zoe took a while to warm up and didn't leave my side for the first 5-10 minutes of arriving. After that, there was no stopping her. Both kids had such a great time playing with Sam & Lily - another family we wish lived closer!
Two sporty boys. Sam & Seb played all sorts of sports in the backyard and were mates the second they saw each other again. Sam is such a nice kid, and they got along very well. While the boys had on the pads to have a play of cricket, they informed me they also needed them on as the girls were apparently hitting them with badminton bats!!
The girls enjoying Michelle's handmade icypoles (you truly are superwoman Michelle!!). It was so nice to sit and talk with Michelle and Brendan while the kids played so well together.
Racing with icypoles?? Why not :)
Such handsome boys.
The girls put on a show for us. Lets just say that I think their talents lay elsewhere ;)
After a fun morning/afternoon visiting, we went went back to Ben & Naomi's to have more fun! Naomi & I took the kids to the park.
Kids throwing bread to the ducks. See that Zoe is finished and heading back for more?? Yeah, that's because she through in the piece of bread whole instead of breaking it up into little bits. Some duck got lucky...or choked!
Seb taking the girls for a boat ride.
Seb had a chat with Lachlan, trying to teach him the alphabet I think! Then he squeezed in a cuddle of course :)
Love this photo, but watching them freaked me out. I was sure that someone was going to fall in!
Tahlia and Zoe in the dresses Nanna made for them.
Chelsea wasn't feeling like posing at all, but we got to sneak her in for a quick snap.
I think Lachlan looks a whole lot like Naomi, but this photo clearly shows he's a lot like Ben too!
