Last game of miniball

Saturday was the last day of miniball for the season. We were at the basketball stadium from 9am till almost 1pm, with the team playing 8 half games of ten minutes each over that time. It was a long day!! The kids had a great time though.

The yellow team: Seb, Christian, Aylah, Holly, Cooper, Addie, and Isabel. Amelia was away that day. They are such a great bunch of kids with really nice parents. It's been fun going to basketball each week.

Seb absolutely LOVES playing basketball. He's a fantastic little dribbler and dodger and is quick on his feet.

A very happy boy with his medal. I love how all the kids get the same medal for playing. If only it was the same way right through school and not only given to the 'winners'. Maybe more kids would play sport if they get rewarded no matter where they come on the ladder.

I thought the big day of basketball would have worn Seb out a bit, but nothing can keep our boy still for long! He spent most of the afternoon out in the front yard shooting hoops on his basketball ring :)

Seb has started practicing for the summer competition already, with games starting in a couple of weeks. Seb is really excited to be playing 'real' basketball and not just miniball :)
