As the kids grow and change so quickly, we wanted to capture them as they slept before they change again before our very eyes without us knowing it.
This has been a familiar site for the past six years - Seb cuddling up to his beloved Max. In a world full of technology and of kids growing up too fast, I love that Seb at 8 years old is still so attached to his cat Max. Max is never far from Seb's side no matter where he is. Seb still takes him in the car to school every morning, and I leave him in the car so that he's there for Seb when I pick him up. If Seb is watching TV, he makes sure Max is in a position so he can see as well. It's so sweet watching the two of them together. Max has even been to Korea and met with Seb's foster mother when we went to Korea when he was four years old! After six years of extreme loving, Max has held up very well and is threadbare in quite a few places from the love of a dear little boy. Max is truly like one of the family. Anyone who knows Seb, knows Max :)
Zoe and her Whitey. We found Whitey while on holidays almost two years ago. He was just a little something to buy to remember our holidays and we had no idea he would become Zoe's cherished puppy. Zoe loves to make high-pitched barking noises for Whitey, and makes licking sounds while running him up our legs and laughs hysterically. Zoe waned off Whitey for a while there while she discovered her love of pandas, but has gone back to having Whitey with her everywhere. She recently acquired 'Big Whitey' who she says is a girl puppy, and 'Little Whitey' is a boy puppy. Whitey looks very well loved and is floppy and looks very unkept but he is a lucky puppy to have the unconditional love of a very special little girl.
