Adelaide - Day 1

Zoe had another appt for her eye in Adelaide, so we thought we'd make it into a mini family holiday. As we haven't gone on a family holiday in a very long time, we took heaps of pictures which is why I'm doing a post on each day. It was so nice and relaxing just hanging around with no firm plans apart from the one appointment.

We got to Adelaide on Friday with plenty of time to spare before the appt, so we decided to go to the botanical gardens to let the kids stretch their legs. They had an absolute ball wandering around looking at all the flowers and trees.

Seb was impressed with the size of the roses.

Zoe loved smelling the roses, then doing a dramatic (fake) sneeze that pushed her backwards and nearly fell over :)

After taking her to the toilet, Zoe searched for Seb and when she spotted him she ran towards him to give him a cuddle. Love my kids.

Posing in the rose gardens.

Tree huggers!!

Posing with Daddy.

Checking out the stream and pond.

The kid's favourite thing was climbing over the magnificent roots of the Morton Bay Figs (not sure if that's the right spelling!).

A great way to fill in some time.

At Zoe's eye appt, we discovered that both her eyes have gotten a little worse - the left eye more than the right. A new prescription is in order, and in the near future we'll be getting Zoe some new glasses.

Great photos. The kids look like little pixies next to those massive trees!
