Zoe took her first steps!!!

We are all away in Leeton this week, where Ian goes to school. First thing this morning (yes, quite early too!), Zoe was leaning against Ian's knees while he was sitting on the couch. He said to her that she didn't need to lean on him and said she could stand up on her own. He placed her a little way away from him, and got her to stand up. Zoe being the determined girl she is to get her own way, promptly walked the two steps needed to get back to her Daddy's knees!!! What a clever girl!

Now when Zoe wants to show us her 'walking', she will stand up againsst something and clap her hands (seeing as we gave her heaps of praise when she took her steps :) ) so that we'll set her up to take some more steps. She's so funny. Half an hour after she was taking two steps, she is now taking three steps at a time. Will be fun to watch her and see her progress in another week!
