We wanted to have something in our back yard in memory of Molly, something we could see grow as we thought about our family dog. Seb really needed something he could take care of while he was still hurting over losing his buddy. We chose to plant a tree, and Seb chose a Eucalyptus tree that grows to 30 metres.
Max had to come outside for the 'ceremony'. Seb said he'd already said a prayer before we came out, so he said a few words and wanted Dad to say a prayer for Molly. It was really sweet, and Seb is now looking after the tree and wants to put the pavers around it as something special for Molly-dog.
