Zoe's 3rd Forever Day

2008
This was the day we met Zoe. She was just a few days shy of being 4 months old. What an amazing day that was. Zoe was ours to cuddle forever.

2009
One year old Zoe. She was a solemn little girl at this age, and it took a lot for her to open up with others outside the family. She was very much a Mummy's girl and would only accept me doing everything.

2010
Two years old. Zoe was a lot cheerier in her second year and started to open up to others outside the family, as long as I was close by. Still very much a Mummy's girl, although she was always excited to see Daddy when he came home from work. Zoe was a great little playmate for Seb.

2011
Wow, Zoe is now three years old. She has grown up tremendously in the past year. Zoe is a funny girl who likes to have a good laugh and loves a good talk. She adores her Daddy and they are great mates. She amazes me with how much information she retains and it seems we have a smart cookie on our hands. Zoe is still reserved with strangers (which isn't a bad thing!), but is a lot more social than she ever was - probably got Mr Social Butterfly Seb to thank for a lot of that! Zoe's favourite movies is Cars. Last year she was all fairies and girly things, this year she always goes straight to the Cars in the shops and says 'Mummy, can I get a car pleeeeeease!' I find it almost impossible to say no to her. I really love that she is still a Mummy's girl :)

The past three years have been an amazing journey. I wouldn't change one single second of it. Zoe is the sweetest, most lovable daughter that we could have ever asked for. The other day Zoe said to me 'Mum, you're my best friend ever' and gave me a big hug. Sweet girl, you have no idea how much you mean to me. I love you so much.

It seems like the little princess has been here forever, though only yesterday that this little angel came into our lives.

You stole a very precious piece of my heart Zoe and you'll always have it. You're a very special little girl and we love you so very much.
