Teddy Bear's picnic

Seb with Max, who was his teddy bear for the day (of course!). Seb had just made a teddy bear car - a milky way with a tiny teddy jammed in for the driver and M&M's for the steering wheel and 4 wheels. Was very yummy apparently!

Last Wednesday, the day before Seb's last day of term, the Preps had a teddy bear picnic. Seb was so excited to take Max to school! Parents were invited to join the activities at 11.30, and to stay for lunch at 1.00. It was great to be with Seb at school and to put a face to all the names Seb had been telling us about. Zoe got to tag along too which she loved. After the kids had made their teddy bear cars, they stood in a circle and sang 'Teddy bear, Teddy bear, turn around...' and 'We're going on a bear hunt' and Zoe quite happily joined in even though she knew people were looking at her. Very big step! Was very cute to watch Seb & Zoe doing all the actions together. Seb was proudly showing off his little sister :)

These boys had finished making their teddy bear baskets and were mucking around with the skipping rope (No, it wasn't very safe and they stopped this soon after this!). Note the not-so- princess like behaviour from Zoe! She was trying to get the rope off Jake, Jag & Seb.
