Twinkle's 1st birthday

The other reason why we stayed in Melbourne as long as we did was so we could go to this sweet Taiwanese girl's 1st birthday party. Isn't she adorable? She was happily sitting on this chair while Ian snapped away. She is so petite and such a darling little girl.

Big Korean brother. Aren't his eyes to die for? He and Seb get along really well and seem to have quite similar personalities. When I'm on the phone to his Mum, and we hear each other's boys we often say they sound SO similar, especially with their whining and tantrums!! (Not that they do those things THAT often ;) )

'Twinkle' in her Cheongsam choosing her destiny. She first picked up the paint brush, then stabbed at the rice with it. So it looks like her future will be filled with creativity and scholarly pursuits, and the rice symbolises prosperity.

The boys at the party were kept very entertained by the jumping castle. There was a lot of rough and tumble, which was to be expected with so many boys together in one spot! They all had a blast.

Seb & Harry. These two just clicked when they met each other. We got to see him two times during our week away, and both times Seb was upset when we had to say goodbye. Don't you think Harry looks like a rock star?? I can imagine him being a hugely popular Korean singer or actor!

A beautiful family who we've had the pleasure of meeting on our adoption journey. Our stories are so similar, with our children having come to us at roughly the same time, and both from Korea and Taiwan. We are truly blessed to have travelled along with them, and Emma certainly helped to keep me sane while we waited for Zoe's allocation. A lovely family.
