Zoe 14 months old

Zoe was 14 months old on Monday, which was also the day we had our very last social worker visit EVER!!! It feels SO good to finally be almost at the end of our adoption process. All we need to do now is wait till Zoe's been in the country for 12 months, do a heap of paperwork, then appear in court so that her adoption is legalised. So close now and we won't have anything more to do with the dept :)

Zoe has been with us for 10 months now, and that time has gone so fast. She is truly a toddler now and no longer a baby. Zoe's 7th tooth came through today, with another following close behind. Seb & Zoe still adore each other, although at the same time get so mad with each other! Zoe is very vocal and tells Seb off when he's doing something she doesn't want him to do. Seb thinks he's got the upper hand because he can pick her up and move her wherever he wants :) Most of the time though they play together really well together, and Seb sets up picnics in his room and they play blocks together etc.

Zoe has well and truly got the hang of walking, although occassionally her feet go faster than her body realises and has a few falls. She can almost run, especially when Seb's playing chasey with her. They laugh so hard one of them usually ends up falling over.

We have a real chatterbox on our hands. Zoe says over 20 words now, and four animal noises. Her favourite 'toys' are books. She is always carrying them around, reading to herself or wanting us to read to her.

Ian & I are still pinching ourselves that we have all we ever wanted. Seb & Zoe have really completed our lives.
